Istanbul Pictures

Oy! We took a lot of pictures, amazingly, in Istanbul. Here they are. I would apologize for having 93 pictures of the Fortress of Europe & cool devices in the Museum of Science and Technology in Islamic History, but hey. You all asked for pictures of MY vacation, and that’s what was important to me!

With no further ado: Here you go

  1. YAY!! These were fantastic to wake up to this Sunday morning šŸ™‚ What a lovely trip! I can’t say Istanbul has been on my list of Places To Go, but I think I need to rethink that now – it looks amazing.

    1. Istanbul was astonishing, and I cannot sufficiently express the kindness and hospitality (and humor!) with which we were consistently treated. Seriously, the comparison between Istanbul and Athens is stark.

  2. It’s rare that I enjoy someone’s vacation photos enough to view more than a few, Apparently I just need smarter fiends. This was a really lovely while to while away a Sunday hour. And Papapa’s Camp Gramp shirt is awesome.

    1. Thank you! And I totally agree about my Dad’s shirt — it was full of awesome.

It helped to have such an astonishing and wonderful place to visit!
